Remote communications industry veteran brings engineering expertise to an important region.
iNet announced today that Erik Persson has joined iNet as senior RF engineer – EMEA Region. Based at the Company’s offices in Stavanger, Norway, Persson will be responsible for the development of the Company’s VSAT and RF solutions across the EMEA region.
“Erik is an excellent addition to our engineering team in EMEA,” said Øyvind Folge, iNet’s VP & GM – EMEA Region. Added Stan Hughey, iNet’s SVP & CTO, “He is adding to our technical skill sets in designing VSAT and RF solutions, particularly as we roll out sophisticated StarlinkTM solutions around the globe.”
Persson has over twenty (20) years of engineering experience in the telecommunications and offshore industries. Most recently, he served as senior RF engineer at Viasat Energy Services (formerly RigNet). Prior to that, he held different engineering roles within the telecommunications industry.
