A major U.S.-based upstream oil & gas operator (“ABC”), an existing iNet customer, was struggling to digitally evolve more than 50 remote drilling and production sites due to poor or non-existent cellular coverage.
Challenge
Remote land-based drilling locations required high-speed, low-latency connectivity to support an AI-driven drilling and completions application.
Existing LTE networks lacked the coverage, reliability, and latency performance needed for real-time telemetry, mud logging, and rig performance data.
Solution
iNet deployed LEOConnect, combining:
